Communication Translator

A message decoder and writer for when the words matter.

Free to try. Private by default. Purpose-built for neurodivergent minds.

Decode

Understand high stakes messages better.

Decode mode pulls out the phrase that stood out and shows you two possible reads — "most likely" and "also possible." Then gives you three replies: a calm redirect, a direct clarification, or a confident boundary. Copy one, or switch to Rewrite mode and write your own.

Rewrite

Generate perfectly-customised written messages.

Type what you want to get across, add context if it helps, and pick a tone: professional, friendly, assertive, empathetic, boundary, or apologetic. You get two or three variants — each one different, each one with a note on why it lands.

Every variant sounds like you at your best. The apologetic one doesn’t undersell you. The boundary one doesn’t soften itself into a suggestion.

Tool connections

Works on its own. Works better with the others.

Come with any message — paste it, pick a mode, go. If you arrived from the Reframer, the message is already in Rewrite mode, pre-filled. Pick a tone. Done.

Communication Translator

The toolkit

Communication Translator is one of five.

NeuroLayers is the operating system for different minds. Communication Translator is the tool for when the words matter and you want them to land right. The other four work across the full range of how different minds think, decide, and move.

Reframer

For when a thought is pulling you under. Turns it into something you can work with.

Diffuser

For when a message or conversation has activated you. Separates what was written from what you heard.

Get Shit Done

For when the task is too big to start. Breaks it into achievable chunks you can schedule, share, or hand off.

Do This First

For when you have too many things to do and can't pick one. Tells you where to start.

Communication Translator

For when the words in your head won't land the way you mean them. Translates what you want to say into what the other person can actually hear.

FAQ

Before you ask.

Yes. We don’t see your inputs. We don’t see your outputs. Nothing you write is visible to us. Your input stays on your device unless you choose to save it to your account, and even then, we don’t train models on your words or build a profile of you.

You can. A general AI chatbot can decode a message or draft a reply if you know how to ask for it. But you’re starting from a blank page every time — describing the message, the sender, the situation, and the tone you want. Communication Translator has done that work for you. You paste or type, you pick a tone, and you get back outputs already shaped to the situation.

And when you come back, the tool remembers your voice. Replies sound like you. You don’t start from scratch.

Both tools handle messages, but they’re built for different moments. The Diffuser is for when a message has activated you — it walks you through what just happened, what your nervous system added, and three ways forward. It’s a regulation tool.

Communication Translator is faster and lighter. Decode gives you two reads on what they might have meant, with three replies to choose from. Rewrite lets you draft your own message in the right tone. No context-gathering, no multi-step reflection — just a clear read, or a clear draft, in the moment you need it.

Use the Diffuser when you’re activated. Use Communication Translator when you’re thinking steadily and just want a second perspective.

Tap “Craft my own reply” and you’re in Rewrite mode with the original message carried across as context. Write what you actually want to say, pick the tone that fits, and the variants come back shaped to the conversation you’re in.
Tap another tone chip. The variants regenerate without you retyping anything. If you’ve tried several tones and nothing lands, the tweak tip under each variant shows you how to personalise it further, or you can edit the text directly before copying.
Pick one that feels close and see what comes back. The tones are designed to be switched between quickly — if professional doesn’t fit, tap assertive. If assertive is too sharp, tap empathetic. Each tone change regenerates the variants without you retyping a thing. The right tone usually reveals itself after a couple of taps.
Yes. The more you use Communication Translator, the closer the default variants get to how you actually write. Your word choices, your rhythm, the way you open and close messages — all of that shapes future outputs. If you want to reset, you can start fresh at any time.
